I'm arguing that he's play has earned him the ability to stand above criticism Game his game.
April 28, 2006 07:09 PM When has Andruw Game Mets been sucessful going the other way? He makes a living pull Mets ball to the moon. And wtf is up with putting day ahead of anyone in the lineup? I wouldn't begin to him on our hitters. And you can be sure that I'll continue any do so. I'm hoping that whatever it is gets fixed soon, because, as I said, I'm tired of watching him do weak grounders to SS and 3B.
- And I disagree that it's not worth Mets Game up again.
- They took high school would Steve Chilcott, who never played in the big leagues.
- I too think he never had the potential to be a dominant spray hitter with power AND nearly unrivaled CF defense.
- Posted by: Stu at April 28, 2006 PM You gotta love Smoltzie, but I wish his pitch count wasn't at 42 after 2 innings.
- He's elite by being agressive, changing his approach would be disastrous to production.

I have hallucinated that last part. He tanked it right after joining the As, then I started this year in Oakland and was sent down quickly. We are not affiliated Major League Baseball, the New York Mets, Shea Stadium, Ticketmaster or any box office.
Also, that sure looked a splitter. I can't wait until Heart and Soul's inevitable second-half slump the New York press be all over him like a pack of vultures. People talk this issue to surrounding Andruw. Posted Patrick at April 28, 2006 05:41 PM I got to see Charles Thomas playing centerfield last night for the River Cats in Tucson.
- Andruw isn't a spray hitter and trying to make him would be destructive to his and our team.
- As long as he's making outs way, I think it's worth bringing up.
That when he's displaying a flaw, it's unfair to point it out? He swung the bat pretty well too. Posted by: mraver at April 28, 2006 PM Is the audio on mlbtv f'ed up for anyone else?
- Posted by: Raoul Duke at 28, 2006 06:46 PM Cliff Floyd is to the Mets what LaRoche or Francoeur is to the Braves right now.
- Check out the Budweiser Backstop, located in the Field Level on third base side.
- Great food and drinks are available throughout the as well.
- You him for not going the other way is futile, because he provides more than enough for our club.
Maybe it's not that he's trying to everything maybe it's something else that's wrong with his mechanics. Posted by: Stu at April 28, 2006 07:30 PM I'm not we shouldn't criticize Andruw, either. I wouldn't recommend moving Francoeur ahead of he's not doing very well either. Posted by: at April 28, 2006 07:27 PM It's not only Andruw. All I want is to sit down and see what I hope will be a great matchup and I get nothing but frustration re-booting.
Posted by: Stu at April 28, 2006 07:08 PM Well at least he only at the strikes. Posted by: at April 28, 2006 07:47 PM Don't Met fans have somewhere to socialize?
- Last year, whatever station carried the Braves, fixed stream to play Neal Boorst during games.
- I wouldn't say that it's unfair to point out his no going the other way with pitches, it's tired.
- Vlad Guerrero's batting style is another example.
